This was done in a HIPPA-compliant environment so all patient records are protected. This information can range from general prescription drug information to specific patient information. This service was used by health insurance companies to provide better service for their insured. Insurance companies like this service because it mitigates liability by quickly delivering needed information to medical professionals. So mistakes in the operating room are reduced; Thereby, reducing potential lawsuits.

Learning opportunities:

The Russo Group in conjunction with Service Point spotted a need in a niche market. The Russo Group used the talents of their staff to produce a very well-planned and thought-out online HIPAA-compliant communication tool. The Russo Group and Service Point took the risk and cost of development to develop the very best and well-thought-out system from the customers’ point of view. We did all of the front-end development first - risking that the customer would not move forward.
